About Onguma Private Game Reserve
Onguma Private Game Reserve sits on the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park, overlooking the vast Fischer's Pan — a salt pan extension of the Etosha Pan. The reserve covers 340 square kilometres of mixed bushveld, open grasslands, and mopane woodland.
Onguma offers a more intimate and flexible Etosha experience, with off-road game drives, night drives, and guided walks not available in the national park. The reserve is particularly known for its birdlife and for spectacular views over Fischer's Pan during the rains when thousands of flamingos gather. With direct access to Etosha via Von Lindequist Gate, it combines private reserve exclusivity with easy access to Etosha's eastern sector.
