About Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destination and one of the most celebrated ecosystems on Earth. Spanning nearly 15,000 square kilometers of endless plains, woodlands, and riverine forests, it is home to the Great Migration — the largest mass movement of land animals on the planet, involving over two million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.
The park supports an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, including all of the Big Five, large populations of cheetahs, and over 500 bird species. Its vast open landscapes provide unrivaled game viewing opportunities year-round, making it a bucket-list destination for safari enthusiasts from around the world.
